Soap Bottle Ghosts

Happy Halloween to all my kind readers! Today I want to show you how to make some really easy ghosts. Your children and grandchildren will love this. There should be no need to buy anything, you should have all the necessary material right at home. This whole project will take less than 15 minutes to make but will decorate your bathrooms and kitchen sink areas.

Homemade Ghosts

You will need a pump soap dispensers and kitchen soap bottles. These bottles can have soap in them already or just empty bottles or dispensers. You will also need napkins, paper toweling and or old dish towels.

I will show you how to make three ghosts, one from the dish soap container and one from the soap dispenser. Both are very easy to make and will make a quick and easy decoration for bathrooms or your kitchen sink
.
1.       First, the soap dispenser. Take the paper toweling and cut a little circle out of it in the middle of your paper toweling.

2.
Place the paper toweling with the whole just below the pump area.

3.
Place a rubber band around the paper toweling to hold it in place.

4.
With a marker draw a face on your ghost.

5.       Now you have a soap dispenser ghost.

1.       With a napkin cut the corner out.

2.

Unfold the napkin and place it over your soap dispenser.

3.
Take your rubber band and place it around the napkin at the top.

4.
With a marker make a face on your ghost.

5.       Now you have a napkin ghost.

1.       Take your dish soap bottle to make this ghost.

2.
With an old dish towel or rag, cut a little circle in the middle of the dish towel.

3.
Place the towel over your dish soap bottle.

4.       Place a rubber band around the top to hold in place.

5.
With a marker make a face on your ghost.

6.       Now you have a dish towel ghost.

All three of these ghosts can be made with any of these materials. Whatever you decide to use the paper toweling, napkins or dish towels they all make really cute ghosts. Let your children and grandchildren be creative when they make these ghosts. This little project cost me nothing because I had everything right at home. I hope you all have a Happy and safe Halloween from Suzie Homemaker.

More Halloween Cheese Goodies

I found another fun way to use Halloween cookie cutters for you today. Since I am on a cheese kick lately, here’s another healthy Halloween treat. I like Trick or Treat like everybody else but do not like all the candy and sweets. This project would be good to do with your grandchildren and children when they have friends over.

Things needed

1 cookie sheet sprayed with non -stick spray.                             1 knife
Cheese of any variety                                                                   bread of any variety
Halloween cookie cutters                                                             toaster

1.       First, toast your bread.

2.

Now take your Halloween cookie cutters and press down on your toast to cut out your Halloween shapes.

3.

Since my Halloween cookie cutters have shapes in them I cut out the shapes. If your Halloween cookie cutters that do not have this just let your children cut out shapes themselves.

4.

Next, cut any variety of cheese and use the cutout pieces of toast as your guide. Cut the cheese into your cut out shapes.

5.

Place the cheese into the cut out places.

6.
Put your Halloween cut outs onto a sprayed cookie sheet with your cheese in the places you cut out.

7.
  Broil until cheese is melted.

8.       Let cool and enjoy a healthy Halloween treat.

Let your children and grandchildren get creative with this. This is a fun activity you can do any time and it does not take very long to do. You could even use some vegetables with this also to make different shapes and colors.

Halloween is a fun time of year for the kids and adults, but too much candy is not good. Why not put a little healthy snack along with the candy. I hope you like my Halloween cheese treat from Suzie Homemaker.

Healthy Halloween Treats

Today I have a fun activity to do with kids of all ages for Halloween. This can be used as a snack for school or any time you want to do something fun with your kids or grandchildren. This little food project takes less than 30 minutes to make, bake and eat. You only need 3 ingredients which you should have at home. This is a healthy snack that everybody will love.

What you will need

Bread of any variety                                              cheese of any variety
Garlic salt                                                                 Halloween cookie cutters
Cookie sheet

1.       Take your bread of any variety and toast it.

2.

Cut some cheese slices big enough to place your cookie cutter on.

3.
Using your Halloween cookie cutters, cut out your shapes of ghosts, cats, and pumpkins.

4.
Place your Halloween shapes onto your toast. Depending on how big your Halloween shapes are you may have to have a bigger piece of bread.

5.

Place the bread onto a cookie sheet with your Halloween cutouts on top into the oven. Turn your oven on broil and watch closely until cheese starts melting.

6.
Now you have a Halloween cheese snack.

7.
Bonus, if you like garlic salt sprinkle a little on top of your melted cheese.

8.
Eat and enjoy a fun Halloween snack.

When I was a kid this was a fun Halloween snack that we took to school. When my children were little this was a great healthy snack to take to Pre-School to share with the class. Let your children and grandchildren get creative with this easy food project. They could cut out eyes, teeth and more depending on your cookie cutters design. They could even add vegetables as eyes for decorations.

This is an easy project to do anytime during the Halloween season. You could make this for breakfast, dinner, supper or for just a fun healthy snack. Let’s have some fun this Halloween from Suzie Homemaker.
