Everybody has a sweet tooth, but sometimes you don’t want a big batch of sweets on the table. Today I will give you a quick and easy recipe you can make at home in less than 5 minutes, and all for yourself. Everybody loves Brownies, but sometimes a whole box is just too much. My friend gave me this recipe to try and I loved it. My own personal Brownie in a mug, you can indulge anytime. Now my children and even my husband can make their own personal Brownie whenever they want to. This recipe has an extra bonus, it’s just not chocolate it also has peppermint in it to give it an extra zing. This would be a cooking idea for the kids and grandkids to do.
Personal Peppermint Brownie in a Mug
3 Tablespoons chocolate chips 1 Tablespoon butter
2 Tablespoons brown sugar 2 Tablespoons flour
1 egg yolk 1 teaspoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract
1. Take your coffee mug and melt your chocolate chips and butter in the microwave for 30 to 45 seconds.
Stir until melted.Add the remaining ingredients and mix well in your mug.
2. Microwave on high for 1 minute.
Let stand for 5 minutes to cool down and until it sets well. (Every microwave is different so check and see that the brownie is setting)
3. Enjoy your single brownie in a mug.
